Vazhga Valamudan slogan to become successful -Vethathirum

I once again marvel at Swamiji’s SKY practices. Through the online lessons guided by our masters in the Certificate Course, my understanding keeps deepening. On Wednesday, I learnt the massage techniques and I have been practicing them regularly. On Thursday, the lesson was on Blessings. The simple Mahamantra — Vaazhga Valamudan, Vaazhga Vaiyagam — touched me deeply.

With regular practice, I can feel my inner peace improving, and there is more harmony at home. Friday and Saturday, I took up some very hard work in our backyard — scrubbing deep pockets of mold from the patio stones. I chose to use only a normal scrub brush instead of calling a handyman. A simple lifestyle, conserving water and avoiding unnecessary machines, felt right. On Friday, I cleaned around 30 stones, each about 1 ft x 2 ft. With the help of my wife replacing the water, I managed for about 2–2.5 hours before stopping due to exhaustion. On Saturday, after other morning chores, I had another 30 stones left. Suddenly, the SKY Mantra came to mind — and everything changed. As I quietly chanted, my body somehow gained fresh energy. I worked faster and needed very little help. Even though logic says the body should feel weaker after the previous day, the mantra kept me going. Later that evening, my body began aching badly. Still, I joined my family for our evening walk — something I had been skipping for weeks. Thanks to daily meditation, I could walk with them again, and even felt lighter and happier. During the walk, I also practiced some simple exercises from JR Ayya’s Kids Monthly Sessions. My fingers hurt, but I could sense the energy slowly balancing. I kept chanting the mantra silently and stayed connected to my family’s conversation. Sunday brought more household work and supermarket trips. By evening, my body felt like it wanted to collapse. A body massage helped me sit at the dinner table, but I still had work to do. So, instead of giving up, I practiced 14-point acupressure. Once again — magic. The strength returned. The pain reduced. I could walk comfortably and finish everything I needed to do. Even now, a few hours after dinner, I am still able to write this peacefully. This journey constantly reminds me that these practices are not merely exercises. They support the body, mind and life. Practices like Kayakalpa rejuvenation practices help us restore our natural energy and slow down degeneration. And when practiced along with the teachings from the Yoga for Human Excellence course, the transformation becomes deeper and meaningful for the entire family. Thank you, my Guru, and the Almighty, for these precious life skills, given with so much compassion and so little expectation in return.
